Angry Ramen in Soft Opening at Bayfair Mall

A new ramen restaurant is in its soft opening phase at Bayfair Mall (15555 E. 14th Street, Suite 199). The owner of Angry Fish Sushi has opened a sister restaurant, Angry Ramen, located between Jamba Juice and Kohl’s.

Angry Ramen serves up traditional ramen and other Japanese dishes that so far have customers singing its praises. Noodles are made fresh in-house, and each bowl of ramen can be customized to the diners’ preferences. Spiciness is ordered on a scale, but diners may also ask for the hot sauce on the side for additional kick.  The crispy gyoza makes for a flavorful and complementary side dish. Another plus is that Angry Ramen does not use monosodium glutamate (MSG) in any of its dishes.

The interior is completely remodeled and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Angry Ramen makes for a welcome addition to the area, joining a recent blossoming of new and exciting area restaurants, such as Joe’s Pho, Cinco Tacobar, and Original Mel’s Diner. Hours are currently Thursday – Sunday, 11:00 am – 9:00 pm.
