Cinco TacoBar Opens at Bayfair, Earns Great Reviews
Readers of the East Bay Express may have come across Luke Tsai’s wonderful review of Cinco TacoBar, which recently opened for business in Fashion Faire Place at Bayfair Mall. Owner Silvano Hernandez opened Cinco TacoBar in the wake of the success of franchises such as Chipotle, with the intention to adopt the same restaurant model, but with higher quality food.
Cinco TacoBar offers a staple array of dishes that deliver intense flavor and some unique sauces for topping. An unusual surprise is the fresh, made-to-order corn tortillas, which elevate the taco experience. The interior is adorned with a full-wall mural painting, with a distinctive Dia de los Muertos theme.
Besides earning a favorable review in the East Bay Express, Cinco TacoBar has also garnered an impressive response on Yelp with 114 reviews and a 4 1/2 star average rating since its opening two months ago. And as Tsai points out, discovering food of this quality between a pool supply store and Payless ShoeSource is indeed something worth celebrating.

when i visit from Huntington Beach, it is nie my “go to” place for tacos..I agree, very clean, a welcoming staff and the fish tacos are fantastic!
