Now Open: Two New Unique San Leandro Restaurants
San Leandrans are always looking for more places to eat, and recently two new restaurants have opened for business that customers are loving on Yelp.
Hawaiian Poke Bowl, at 576 Floresta Boulevard, just opened, inviting diners to sample their Poke, a raw fish salad of Hawaiian origin that can be served as an appetizer or an entree alike. Seafood lovers will enjoy the selection of Ahi tuna, salmon, yellowtail, albacore, shrimp, octopus, scallop, or smoked salmon. The portions are already generous, but for an additional dollar or two, hungrier diners can up-size their portions with extra poke or crab meat.
Everybody’s Café, in Marina Faire at 13876 Doolittle Drive, is a Filipino restaurant that offers a convenient and modestly priced all-day buffet service. The food is made authentically home-style, traditionally seasoned, and has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. The family-run restaurant provides friendly service in a clean and warm dining room.
San Leandro residents can enjoy a number of new places popping up throughout the city. Recent openings of Sons of Liberty Alehouse, Mels Original Diner, Fusion Factory, Angelina’s Pizza, and Noodles Pho Me are a testament to San Leandro’s diverse dining scene. The restaurant community is continuing to grow, so check back for more news as the year progresses.
