San Leandrans love good beer!  Our craft beer cluster continues to thrive as a point of pride for residents.  For the fourth consecutive year, San Leandro is well-represented in the San Francisco Beer Week, which kicks off on February 10.  Below is the local itinerary.  You can visit the SF Beer Week website for the complete Bay Area schedule.


Saturday Social with Make a Wish & Cherry Red Release

CQ is teaming up with the Make a Wish Foundation to raise both funds and awareness, while simultaneously releasing the barrel-aged Cherry Red tart ale.


CQ Tiki Party

Break out your most obnoxious Hawaiian shirts and help celebrate CQ’s most tropical beer yet: POG Saison! This barrel-aged brew is loaded with passionfruit, blood orange, and guava for a beer that is super juicy and as refreshing as a Mai Tai.

Santa Cruz/Monterey Breweries Tap Takeover

The Cooler returns for its second year of participation in SF Beer Week with an all-day tap takeover from Santa Cruz and Monterey breweries.


The Hop Trifecta: Boneyard, Altamont, and Melvin

Meet the brewers and taste the brews of Boneyard Beer, Altamont Beerworks, and Melvin Brewing.


Menagerie of Distinguished Drinkers Welcome Party

This private event for CQ’s exclusive membership club will unveil 2018 Menagerie merchandise while previewing special Beer Week brew releases.

Drake’s Sau & Brau, Vol. 8

Yappy Hour with Oakland Animal Services

Oakland Animal Services and Cleophus Quealy are partnering to help homeless pets in this charity event.

Drake’s Cellar Release

Barrel-aged and sour beers have the spotlight at this Drake’s event, which will also provide useful information about the brewery’s new membership club, the ’89 Club.

Getting Funkadelic with Dionysus

Cleophus Quealy’s final installation in this year’s Beer Week features tasty chilaquiles from Canasta Kitchen to bring a whole new meaning to the word “brunch.”

Grillin’ & Chillin’: Family Affair

Triple Rock Brewery and Jupiter Beer will bring some unique varieties alongside Drake’s flagship brews to this family-friendly event, offering corn hole, board games, and Papa Roy’s famous tri-tip.
