Truth is Beauty will be arriving in Downtown San Leandro on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. The community is invited to welcome her into town as she is transported on a flatbed truck for the “Arrival Celebration”. Attendees will be able to see the sculpture up close as she is en-route to her new home at the nearly completed Phase I of the San Leandro Tech Campus. The arrival celebration will attended by the artist of the 55-foot tall sculpture, Marco Cochrane, along with other notable local leaders such as the Mayor and Councilmembers who helped make this larger-than-life concept a reality. Join us as we mark the beginning of a transformative chapter in San Leandro’s future.
