108th Cherry Festival Returns to Downtown San Leandro on June 3, 2017

The 108th Cherry Festival will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Downtown San Leandro from 11 AM until 6 PM.  The festival brings a cherry farmers’ market, artisans and vendors, live entertainment, food, beer and wine, and an exhilarating Kid Zone.  The headline entertainer this year is the legendary rock band, the Romantics, which will follow the Mango Kingz, Best Intentions Motown Tribute Band, Bayfire Band, and the San Leandroids on the main stage. The festival parade will begin at 10 AM and will enter the festival area from San Leandro Boulevard.

There will be food and drink aplenty from vendors such as Fenton’s Creamery, Funnel Cake Express, Charlie Frank’s Pies, Gaspachos, Mariah’s Fair Treats, Volcano Splash Drinks, and beer from all three San Leandro breweries, 21st Amendment, Cleophus Quealy, and Drake’s Brewing Company.  And as always, there is a cherry pie bake-off contest — visit the Cherry Festival web page for more information.

A bike valet service will be available.  Convenient, daily vehicle parking is available at the Downtown Parking Garage as well as at the San Leandro Tech Campus parking garage located at Parrott Street and San Leandro Boulevard, behind the Downtown San Leandro BART station.
