The next two Saturdays will have craft beer lovers rejoicing as two San Leandro’s breweries are hosting consecutive anniversary events a week apart!

Starting at 1PM on Saturday, August 18, 21st Amendment will host its third annual Augustfest event, celebrating three years in their headquarters location and production facility at 2010 Williams Street. This event is a free-admission, family friendly happening, with live music, live art, a kids’ zone, food trucks, a cigar lounge, and of course lots of beer. Alongside its faithfully enjoyed brews, 21A will also roll out limited issue beers (including old favorites, such as Toaster Pastry and Monk’s Blood) throughout the event, which will draw to a close at 8 PM. There will be a free shuttle running to and from the Downtown San Leandro BART station.

After a week of rest, make your way over to Drake’s at 1933 Davis Street, whose 29th Anniversary free entry event begins at 5PM on Saturday, August 25th.  This shindig will also feature live music, art, food trucks, and games. As usual, the beer selection is abundant, with over 25 Drake’s beers on tap, exclusive, rare, and vintage releases at their To Go Beer Station. Bike East Bay will provide bike valet services. This event will close at 9 PM. Check out their Inner Circle VIP Package, or the Party On Package for additional perks, such as entry to the VIP Early Entry Hour and Drake’s merchandise.

Come out and join these breweries in celebrating another year of great beer production, right here in San Leandro.
