Now Open: Gourmet Cellar – Craft Beer, Wine, and Specialty Food
Just barely removed from the hustle and bustle of Downtown San Leandro, Gourmet Cellar recently opened its doors at 2150 Washington Avenue. Tucked behind New York Pizza and Pasta, this charming store offers a wide-ranging assortment of approximately 200 craft beers, an eclectic collection of wines, and an array of specialty foods ranging from caviar and fine cheeses to artisan jams and oils. Gourmet Cellar also features a tasting room, with tasting events hosted by Bay area wineries, breweries, and distilleries to be scheduled after an upcoming Grand Opening. In the 
meantime, Gourmet Cellar is a convenient one-stop for some unique eats and a fine wine or beer pairing, or to simply provide beverage options to accompany take-out orders from the neighboring pizzeria. While this unique neighborhood shop enjoys a good amount of foot traffic from neighboring residents, it also offers off-street parking for those traveling from other neighborhoods. And whether you fancy the luxury of a ten year old Dom Pérignon or the down-to-earth palette of an El Salvadorean Pilsener, Gourmet Cellar is ready to welcome you.
