San Leandro Breweries Win Big at World Beer Championships

San Leandro is once again home to two world beer champion medalist breweries. At the Great American Beer Festival both 21^st Amendment and Drake’s Brewing Co. proudly took home medals. Over 7,000 beers were entered into judging by more than 1,700 breweries from all over the country. Only 95 gold medals were awarded throughout the weekend.

In celebration, 21^st Amendment is selling six-packs of El Sully for a “golden steal”, and anyone who buys a case of the beer can take a photo in the El Sully “throne” wearing the medal.
