San Leandro Tech Campus Opening, Plans Underway for Second Building

Following a ceremony on October 18, the San Leandro Tech Campus will soon be opening, with the second building being planned.  As noted in the October 21 San Francisco Business Times, with plans for three buildings totaling up to 500,000 square feet, the San Leandro Tech Campus is one of the largest transit-oriented developments in the East Bay.   The first building is complete along with a six-story parking garage for employees.  OSIsoft, the sole tenant of the first building, has begun to move its offices from its former headquarters at 777 Davis Street. Developer Westlake Urban is preparing to break ground on the second building in 2017 and is currently seeking tenants.  The project has attracted much attention thus far and is likely to serve as an effective catalyst toward establishing a tech industry in San Leandro.
