This Sunday, October 1st, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., the 17th annual Sausage & Suds Music Festival will take over Parrott Street between E. 14th Street and Washington Avenue in Downtown San Leandro. This popular event’s beer and wine garden offers a variety of wines and over 40 craft brews, and a host of food vendors will offer delicious fare, most notably sausage. This event is family-friendly with a “Chill Zone” offering children’s games, face-painting, music, a photo booth, steel drum music, and more.

Live entertainment will be provided on the main stage throughout the event, starting with a Zumba! session, led by DC Dance Center.  The music lineup consists of Altered Egos Band, the Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra, Lydia Pense and Cold BloodAvance, and returning favorites the Spazmatics. As in past years, all proceeds support the series of FREE events produced by the San Leandro Downtown Association. Come, enjoy, and as always, please drink responsibly!
