“The Great Migration of the Monarch Butterflies” by Rigo 23 – Mural Dedication This Saturday

This Saturday, November 15, 2014, a dedication ceremony for “The Great Migration of the Monarch Butterflies” mural will be held at the St. Leander Parish – Ryan O’Connell Hall at 575 West Estudillo Avenue. The City of San Leandro, St. Leander Parish, Downtown San Leandro Improvement Association and members of the Portuguese community partnered together to commission world renowned artist Rigo 23 to paint the mural on the west wall of the Ryan O’Connell Hall facing San Leandro Boulevard and BART. This ceremony is open to the public, so please join us in celebrating San Leandro’s culture and history!
