You may have noticed that I’ve been pretty absent with my blogging the last few weeks.  The good news is that there has been a whirlwind of tech and innovation events in San Leandro the last few weeks that have kept me busy, including international visitors — and filming The Video.

Working with Bill Knowland of Direct Images Interactive as my co-producer, on November 11th we began a week of shooting the 2nd in a series of videos focused on the transformation of San Leandro into a tech and innovation city.  Much thanks is due the entire team, including 7 San Leandro business leaders, who put in several hundred hours between all of us to make this happen.

The New San Leandro will debut tonight at the Alameda County Mayors’ Conference at the Zero Net Energy Center in San Leandro.  This conference is hosted throughout the year by a different city each month, and December belongs to San Leandro and Mayor Stephen Cassidy at an invitation-only event for County and State public officials.

The following series of pictures is just a glimpse into what that week was like for us — exhausting and fun!  Stay tuned to San Leandro Next for the online debut of the New San Leandro video on Monday, December 16th!

Looks fantastic! It’s a terrifically important message to get out there.

  2. Thanks Greg! I learned so much from the Next Gen Workplace Study that you and Rod completed for the City. I’m looking forward to you and Rod seeing the video.
