Last year’s East Bay Innovation Awards provided the City of San Leandro the opportunity to proudly showcase two finalists and one award winner in the Information/Communication Technology category:

• OSIsoft (Dr. Patrick Kennedy, CEO and Founder: Jenny Linton, President), and the winner of the Information/Communication Technology Award; and
• PhaseSpace (Tracy McSheery, CEO and Founder)

Both companies were featured in the San Francisco Business Times East Bay Innovation Awards special pullout following the February 2015 Awards that took place at the Fox Theater in Oakland.

NOMINATIONS (INCLUDING SELF-NOMINATIONS) ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2016 EAST BAY INNOVATION AWARDS, to take place on Thursday February 25, 2016 at the Fox Theater in Oakland.   Eligibility requirements are simple:

• Be a for-profit business or not-for-profit organization, with headquarters or operations in Alameda or Contra Costa Counties; and
• Have achieved an innovation in 2014-15 in the East Bay that is being used for new and improved products, processes, services, systems or methods.

Nominations will be accepted in the following categories: Clean Tech; Advanced Manufacturing; Food; Information and/or Communication Technology; Life Sciences; Engineering and Design; Education; Catalyst.

What is it?

The East Bay Innovation Awards celebrates the cutting-edge innovators in business that make the East Bay one of the preeminent regions of innovation in the nation.

The East Bay Economic Development Alliance along with the San Francisco Business Times celebrate and award companies that most contribute to the East Bay’s culture of innovation. The Awards will produce a prestigious cohort of award recipients each year and will also make a special effort to recognize the up-and-coming innovators who will have opportunities to be leaders in the East Bay in future years.
