Looking For Something to Do? Two Exciting Events in San Leandro This Weekend!

The summer heat is finally here and many of us are eager to get outside and enjoy the sunshine! But with school having started and vacation season coming to an end, getting away for some fun is getting harder to manage. Fear not! This weekend there are two exciting events taking place right here in San Leandro!

On Saturday, August 26, 2023, 21st-Amendment Brewery is hosting its annual anniversary party: Augustfest. From 12pm until 8pm, the public is invited to enjoy the 21st-Amendment Taproom at 2010 Williams Street to celebrate delicious craft beer, friends, yummy local food, energetic live music, and all the 90s vibes. And admission is free!

This family-friendly event will feature collaboration brews with Fieldwork Brewing, Camino Brewing Co., Moonlight Brewing Co., and Harmonic Brewing. There are activities both indoors and outdoors, live music throughout the day, local and regional food trucks, and a kid zone with fun and games! This year, the event also features two VIP packages, which award access to several VIP experiences (21 and over) and more!

On Sunday, August 27, 2023, the Downtown San Leandro Community Benefit District is hosting a San Leandro Artisan Market, from 12pm until 5pm. This event is located in Downtown San Leandro, at 100A W Juana Avenue.

This event features handmade goods and art from around the Bay Area. There will be more than 30 booths showcasing San Leandro’s artists and makers, along with live music. Local restaurants are also ready to welcome event attendees to dine and drink and be merry.
