Save the Date: First San Leandro Restaurant Week July 16-22
The San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of San Leandro, is hosting the first San Leandro Restaurant Week, so mark your calendars! The event will take place from Sunday, July 16 through Saturday, July 22, 2023.
San Leandro is well known for its extensive global food culture. Restaurant Week is an opportunity to celebrate San Leandro’s rich culinary culture, support small businesses, and spend locally. Restaurants will offer unique dishes and deals and welcome diners to explore and discover the diversity that exists within the community.
The Chamber of Commerce will also unveil a competition for local food enthusiasts to participate in, so stay tuned! The Chamber has a web page dedicated to the event HERE.
So far, over thirty restaurants are participating, a list of which is included below. Don’t see your favorite on the list? Encourage them to participate! Restaurants are welcome to sign up on the same web page.
Restaurants who sign up before the end of business on June 9, 2023 will be included in the Chamber’s marketing of the event. After this date, restaurants are still encouraged to sign up, but will need to do their own marketing.

any vegetarian options?
excellent question!
Can I ask why Tophatter’s is not included on your list
Great question Marty
All San Leandro restaurants were invited to participate, but many decided not to participate.
Why was I notified of this (via Simplicity)? Please only send notifications that have substantive content. As a marketing pitch to restaurants, this shouldn’t have gotten to me, a regular citizen. I am now less inclined to participate in whatever restaurant week turns out to be about.
Do it again and I’ll unsubscribe.
Donde esta la musica???
Where’s the live music???
Are there going to be links available to the restaurant week menu? I’ve checked a few websites of those participating and don’t see their restaurant week menu.
Agreed ! I am looking for deals to offset the skyrocketing prices of restaurant food… no deal … no dollars !
Yes, restaurants need to indicate what their restaurant week specials are- so far none I checked have anything listed so why should a consumer go to try them out?
