Dining Discovery: Porque No? Tacos
We love collaborations in San Leandro. When businesses join efforts, great things can happen, and the community benefits from it. A recent success story of this kind is the recent team-up of Frank’s Sports Bar & Grill with Porque No? Tacos.
Porque No? Tacos began as a pop-up in Oakland and has recently joined up with Frank’s Sports Bar & Grill in San Leandro. The popular breakfast and lunch pop-up joint helps to broaden the dining offerings in Frank’s recently renovated space on Marina, west of Merced.
Porque No? Tacos has earned a decent following on Yelp, enticing its diners with its hearty servings of tacos, burritos, tortas, with the Super Shrimp Taco as a customer favorite. What’s more, the prices are reasonable, and no one leaves hungry.

The breakfast menu offers chicken and waffles, breakfast burritos and chilaquiles as well as classic morning options, such as bagels, omelets, and French toast. The lunch menu is all-Mexican fare, with meat options including steak, chorizo, grilled chicken, pork al pastor, lengua, cabeza, and shrimp. If meat is not your thing, the menu also offers a hefty veggie burrito.
Frank’s Bar & Grill continues to offer it’s classic menu with a selection of a hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, nachos, chicken strips, and more. They also offer a full bar and plenty of options to watch sports and relax in their freshened-up space.
