Celebrate SF Beer Week 2023 With the San Leandro Beer Community

After a successful return of SF Beer Week in 2022, the festivities resume again this year starting on Friday, February 10 and continuing through Sunday, February 19.
As in 2022, SF Beer Week will feature five official kick-off parties throughout the Bay Area in an effort to limit crowd size and maintain a safe environment, as well as showcase and celebrate local members and beer communities.
East Bay Kick-Off Party
The East Bay kick-off party will take place at 21st Amendment Brewery at 2010 Williams Street on February 10. 21A’s co-founder and brewmaster Shaun O’Sullivan was also pivotal in the establishment of SF Beer Week back in 2009, so it is only fitting that the brewery host this event. Tickets range from $25 to $90. This year, tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.
While 21st Amendment normally welcomes families and their four-legged friends, this event is 21+ only and attendees are asked to leave their dogs at home for this event. In addition to all this delicious beer, there will be live music, and food trucks on site.
The kick-off event will feature a wide array of East Bay brewers, including San Leandro’s other acclaimed brewery Drake’s Brewing Company. Other brewers include:

For a Friday night hang, February 17 will be a good time for the Night Market at Drake’s. This market features local makers of jewelry, crafts, beard-oils, and more! And of course there will be beer – including a special Firkin tapping for a limited tasting. This event also starts at 5PM.
And finally, as tradition would have it, the Grillin’ & Chillin’ wrap-up party will start at noon on February 18. Enjoy some tri-tip, corn-hole, board games and brews – and bring your dogs!
Besides these San Leandro events, the entire Bay Area will be bustling with events for beer enthusiasts. Check out the full event schedule here.
