Celebrate SF Beer Week at San Leandro Breweries!

Beer aficionados rejoice! The time has come again for San Francisco Beer Week. This year’s festivities commence on Friday, February 9, 2024 and will run through Sunday, February 18, 2024.

As usual, the celebration will kick off with the Beer Week Opening Gala, hosted by the Bay Area Brewers Guild. The gala is the most anticipated and prestigious annual gathering of Northern California’s craft beer community. Guests are invited to join upwards of 100 craft breweries for the craft beer celebration of the year! The event runs from 6PM until 9PM on February 9, 2024, at Pier 35 in San Francisco and tickets range between $85 and $275. Those interested in attending are advised to purchase tickets online for this event.

San Leandro Events

All week long (February 9-18), Fieldwork Brewing will be featuring a Blind Flight Challenge at all of its locations, including San Leandro (100A W Juana Ave)! Correctly guess all six beers in a flight and win a shirt!

During Beer Week, Downtown favorite the Cooler (1517 E. 14th Street) will be celebrating Lagerfest all week, starting at 4PM on Saturday, February 10 and continuing all week. Though the spotlight is on lagers, the Cooler will still plan on pouring a variety of beers, such as IPAs, stouts, etc.

On Sunday, February 11, 21st-Amendment Brewery will host Superbowl Platters ‘n Pitchers starting at 11AM. 21A will host this event at both their San Francisco Brewpub and San Leandro Taproom at 2010 Williams Street to watch the big game and indulge in delicious wings! This event is a collaboration with Hot Drops Hot Sauce to create the perfect menu featuring mouth-watering local hot sauce.

Drake’s Brewing Company (1933 Davis Street) will host a loteria event at 6PM on Tuesday, February 13, promising laughter, Latin vibes, and the best beer around. Hosted by the fabulous Sally Limón, a local drag queen extraordinaire, this Loteria Night promises to be an unforgettable celebration of culture and community! Expect exciting rounds of loteria with great prizes, tantalizing tacos on special, and unbeatable Latin beats to keep you moving all night long!

Also on Valentine’s Day, 21st-Amendment Brewery is having a Beer Buddies Speed Mingling event at its San Leandro taproom (2010 Williams Street). From 5PM to 7PM you can sip & mingle with awesome people from all over the Bay Area looking to meet new people and make new friends! The entry ticket is $15, which includes the first round of beer and a TCHO Chocolate goodie bag!

21st-Amendment Brewery (2010 Williams Street) is collaborating with the San Leandro Public Library on a Books ‘n Brews event on Thursday, February 15. Join 21A and Library Staff at 5PM and get signed up for a library card, which will not only get you $2 off your pint, but will grant you access to all the great resources that the San Leandro Public Library has to offer!

The final SF Beer Week event in San Leandro is hosted by Drake’s Brewing Company and is the ever-popular Grillin’ and Chillin’ party at Drake’s at 1933 Davis Street, taking place on Sunday, February 18, starting at 12 noon. Indulge in mouthwatering BBQ delights expertly grilled by Drake’s Brewing Co.’s owners. Enjoy great music music, fantastic deals on BBQ favorites, and a variety of fun activities. Drake’s will also have all its collaboration beers on draft for you to try, wrapping up Beer Week with a flavorful feast and great vibes!
