The 112th annual San Leandro Cherry Festival returns to Downtown San Leandro on June 1. The Cherry Parade starts at 10AM and the festival runs from 11AM until 6PM in historic San Leandro (on West Estudillo Avenue near Casa Peralta). The festival will feature a parade, hundreds of food, artisan and community booths, live music, a kid zone, a classic car show, and a return of the cherry pie baking and eating contests!

  • Parade – Starting at 10AM on San Leandro Boulevard, heading East on Parrott Street before turning northbound up E. 14th Street, ending at the Main Library at 300 Estudillo Avenue.
  • Booths – over 200, including food vendors, artisan vendors, cherry producers, and community resources. San Leandro-based business Unpossible Cuts is back, offering unique laser-cut wood jewelry, as well as Little Feltworks who will be selling whimsical, hand-stitched felt ornaments and plushies. Food vendors include San Leandro favorite Koolfi Creamery, who will bring its limited-edition cherry ice cream.
  • Music – the festival will be jamming all day with Eddie Rangel & Orquesta America, Big Blu Soul Revue, and ending with blues rock band Eddie 9V, who will be playing their new single – Saratoga!
  • Fun Zone – something for everyone, including a bike rodeo (learn to ride a bike!) and a 100-foot long giant slide.
  • Car Show – second annual Cherry Festival Classic Car Show, showcasing vehicles made no later than 1980.
  • Cherry Pies – cherry pie eating and baking contests for traditional, non-traditional, and youth baker categories. Sign up here!
