For  the past 20 years, the San Leandro LINKS Shuttle has provided free transportation between the Downtown San Leandro BART station and West San Leandro.  Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the service has continued to serve riders by implementing a variety of safety protocols including daily bus sanitation.

LINKS offers comfortable buses and connects riders between the Downtown San Leandro BART Station to popular destinations such as Marina Square, Costco and Walmart, Kaiser Permanente, employers, and residential areas.  LINKS uses NextBus which allows riders to locate nearest stops, find real-time arrival estimates and get walking directions using the NextBus website and free mobile app for Apple and Google phones.  Under Agency select San Leandro LINKS.

The free LINKS shuttle receives funding from businesses along the bus route, the City of San Leandro, TFCA clean air funds provided by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, and voter-approved Measure BB which funds transportation projects throughout Alameda County.

For more information on LINKS, including the route map, service hours, stop locations and NextBus links, visit www.sanleandrolinks.com or contact the LINKS Shuttle at linksshuttle@sanleandro.org.
