Hot Spot Yoga Opens San Leandro Location This Saturday
A new yoga studio is coming to Downtown San Leandro! Hot Spot Yoga is holding the grand opening of its San Leandro location this Saturday, August 3, from 12:30 – 4:00pm, at 169 Pelton Center Way.
Hot Spot Yoga is the newest addition to historic Pelton Plaza, where we have seen the arrival of a number of exciting new businesses over the past several years, such as Atelier Colibri Patisserie, Maejoo Korean cuisine, Kendejah Liberian cuisine, and the codeAtorium kids’ coding school.
Studio owner and high energy yoga teacher Adesina Cash opened the first Hot Spot Yoga location in 2014 in Downtown Oakland and expanded a second location near Lake Merritt in 2017. “We couldn’t be happier about our new home here in historic Downtown San Leandro,” commented Cash. “Our goal has always been to provide a space where anyone and everyone can come and feel connected while practicing yoga and moving in their bodies. We’ve got a different thing going on here. In our house, we like to play! We’re here to have a good time in life and in our bodies! I’ve had so many students come up to me to say they were initially turned off to yoga because they felt alienated or unwelcome in the yoga space. That is ridiculous! We are here to shut that kind of thing down. Yoga is about connection and so are we. Want to have a good time in yoga class? Come see us!”
Hot Spot Yoga offers yoga and strength training classes for students of all experience levels and ages. They offer a number of unique classes, including Hot Tuff, Decompression Session, and “Bubbles & Flow” a Saturday Morning vinyasa class followed by a celebratory champagne toast. The San Leandro location will also serve as the launch point for the Hot Spot Family and Parent & Baby Yoga, with two family classes offered back-to-back on Sunday mornings.
