Adding to an already budding beer scene in San Leandro, Cleophus Quealy Beer Company will open it’s doors on Saturday, November 1st, 2014. Cleophus Quealy will host a soft opening the weekend of November 1st for both Saturday and Sunday.  The event will be located at 448 Hester Street in San Leandro and will include a food truck and eight amazing beers on tap.

Cleophus Quealy Beer Company is a craft brewery start-up formed by two beer enthusiasts and former Google engineers,  Peter Baker and Dan Watson.  Cleophus Quealy Beer Company brewers are devoted to helping people see beer in a whole new light: nourishment for our palates, our communities, and our lives.

“We did design beers to be enjoyable on a sunny summer afternoon,” said Watson. “Our focus is on producing flavorful seasonal beers, so you should expect to see a different lineup throughout the year, possibly with a couple stronger strength brews in the fall and winter.”
