Paradiso Gets Big Praise on “Check Please! Bay Area”

San Leandro’s Paradiso was featured this week on KQED’s popular restaurant review show, Check Please! Bay Area. The show’s three guests visited Paradiso and the reviews were extremely positive. Here a quick sampling:

“The Chocolate Molten Cake is definitely one of my favorite desserts…”
“The ravioli were just right, and the combination of shrimp, crab and whitefish was fantastic.”
“The real star of this restaurant was the Short Rib and Polenta; we could not get enough of it!”

Check Please has the ability to drive lots of traffic to restaurants that receive a positive reception on the show. This is sure to be a much deserved boon to Paradiso, which is well known to residents as a San Leandro institution. We also hope that show will lead more people to check out other San Leandro’s growing restaurant scene.
