San Leandro is in the news again! The front page of Tuesday morning’s East Bay Times features a glimpse into the rapidly expanding manufacturing sector in the East Bay. Annie Sciacca’s article — Manufacturing Their Future — shines a bright spotlight on San Leandro, bringing particular attention to the city’s advanced manufacturing businesses and food & beverage manufacturing businesses, including Type A Machines, 21st Amendment Brewery, and Drake’s Brewing Company.  Sciacca examines this exciting growth from the perspectives of City officials, business owners, as well as the  East Bay Advanced Manufacturing Partnership and provides yet another affirmation that San Leandro is becoming a lead player in economic development and innovation in the East Bay.
