With San Leandro’s craft beer cluster growing all the time, it’s no surprise that we’ll be well represented in this year’s SF Beer Week with a dozen events. Here’s your guide to San Leandro’s piece of this week-long celebration of the Bay Area’s craft beer scene.

Blackberries and Banjos – New Beer Release

Tour de Biere 2014 Day One: East Bay Brewery Bike Crawl

February 7 / 11 – 4 pm / Start at Trumer Brauerie in Berkeley
The Grand Cru is proud to once again present Tour de Bière, an annual Beer Week bike crawl. The ride on Saturday, February 7th will visit three great establishments: Trumer Brauerie, Woods Bar and Brewery, and Cleophus Quealy. $20. More info

Tour de Biere 2014 Day Two: East Bay Brewery Bike Crawl

February 8 / 10:30 – 5:30 pm / Start at Drake’s Brewing Company, 1933 Davis Street
The second ride on Sunday, February 8th will stop at Drakes Brewing Company, Linden St., the Rare Barrel, and Pyramid Brewing. $20. More info

Tasty Brew Session in the Yeast Bay

February 8 / 10am – 5pm / Cleophus Quealy Beer Company / 448 Hester Street
Help brew a collaboration between Mike “Tasty” McDole, Nick Impellitteri from the Yeast Bay, and Cleophus Quealy Beer Company. The experts will walk through the recipe, geek out on yeast, answer questions, and then you’ll help with the brew. You’ll also get a special invite to the release party in March. More info.

Pizza Port Takeover

The Pizza Port family of breweries have over 15 gold medals at GABF! Pizza Port will be bringing up some beers along with some other really great Southern CA breweries. More info

Sau & Brau 5: “Cinqo de Porcos”

For the 5th year, Drake’s will open their doors and our taps to lovers of pig and beer with a whole hog pig roast dinner and over 20 taps flowing with Drake’s beers including special small-batch Barrel Aged Beers. Includes $50. More info

Brasserie Saint James Meet The Brewer

Boneyard and Altamont Bring the Hops!

Baltic Beach Party

Put on your long underwear and join CQ on the east-onian coast to celebrate a mixed fermentation baltic porter aged in French oak barrels. Like any good beach party, you’ll get to frolic in waves of grain and surf guitar. More info.
