SF Beer Week Returns to San Leandro
If there is one thing we have learned from the arrival of the Cooler and Sons of Liberty Alehouse in Downtown San Leandro, it is that San Leandrans love good beer! Our craft beer cluster is thriving and has quickly become a point of pride for residents. For the third consecutive year, San Leandro is well-represented in the San Francisco Beer Week extravaganza which kicks off on February 11. Below is the San Leandro itinerary. Yeast Affection
February 11 / 12 noon – 9 PM / Cleophus Quealy / 448 Hester Street
The Yeast Bay will team up with CQ to present some unique beers brewed specifically for Beer Week 2017.
Brewery Tour – Alameda & San Leandro
February 12 / 11:30 AM – 4 PM / Various breweries
With a pick-up/drop off location at Pacific Coast Brewing Co. in Oakland, this Whole Brew World-coordinated tour will visit Drake’s Brewing Co., Faction Brewing, Cleophus Quealy, 21st Amendment, and Alameda Island Brewing Company.
Silva Brewing, the Good Beer Co. & Monkey Paw Night
February 12 / 3 – 8 PM / The Cooler / 1517 E. 14th Street
The Bay Area debut of Silva Brewing is the focal point of this event, with special guests the Good Beer Co. and Monkey Paw Brewing bringing unique brews to the Cooler’s first SF Beer Week event.
The Bruery Takeover

The Bruery will bring a generous selection of its distinctive beers to San Leandro’s staple location Harry’s Hofbrau.
Cherry Red Release Party

The 2017 vintage of this Flanders Red-inspired sour ale is one of CQ’s best loved barrel-aged beers. This will be available on tap and in the bottle!
Double Trouble with Founders

Founders Brewing will bring a list of great beers, including KBS, Backwoods Bastard, and Double Trouble 3x IPA.
John Casey x Cleophus Quealy

The artwork of Oakland-based multimedia artist John Casey will take over CQ’s tasting room, while visitors can sip the newly released Cherry Red among other brews.
Introducing Epic Brewery to the East Bay

Epic Brewing will make its East Bay debut appearance, its brewers bringing some rare kegs from its cellar.
Beer & Chocolate Pairings with Dandelion Chocolate

Celebrate Valentine’s Day a little differently this year, with Dandelion Chocolate’s small batch chocolates, paired with Cherry Red, or the gin-barrel aged Finnish style Sahti.

The East Bay SPCA and Cleophus Quealy are partnering to help homeless pets in this charity event, which will give you the opportunity to try some special releases, such as the Cherry Red, or the Yeast Bay collaboration Belgian Golden Strong Ale.

Drake’s Cellar Release Party
