Innovation in San Leandro – 2024 Development Breakfast

On Wednesday, April 24, the City of San Leandro, in partnership with The Registry SF, will be hosting a Development Breakfast: Innovation in San Leandro at the newly named Speedway at Bayfair (15555 E. 14th Street, Suite 510 at the rear near DaVita). Speedway — the job center under construction inside the mall — is a nod to the Oakland Speedway that once occupied the land prior to the mall being built. Speakers will provide an overview of San Leandro’s position in the Bay Area market and highlight the benefits that San Leandro apart from neighboring cities. The event is targeted toward commercial and industrial brokers and developers, but also welcomes people in commercial finance, and property owners.

The Post Event Tour will highlight the transformation of the Bayfair Center. While the exterior is still retail-oriented, the interior is transitioning to a research & development job center, attracting growing, innovative businesses from the greater Bay Area. The tour will be provided by the mall’s new owners, B3 Investors, who also own another successful center for innovation in San Leandro – Gate 510.
