San Leandro By Design: Bay Fair Beyond the Plans
The City of San Leandro invites members of the community to attend this year’s San Leandro by Design – Bay Fair Beyond the Plans! The event will be held on Wednesday, November 15th from 9-11am at the Bayfair Mall.
Get a sneak peek at changes coming to the Bayfair Mall and surrounding area. There is a lot of planning and activity going on behind the scenes! Meet with City, BART, and property owner representatives to learn about the planned transformation of the area surrounding Bay Fair BART into a mixed-use transit village. Get updates about upcoming opportunities for tenants and developers.
San Leandro by Design is an annual event hosted by the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce and the City of San Leandro that takes a deeper dive into the up-and-coming planning, development and business opportunities in San Leandro.

The City has already developed a Transit-Oriented Plan for Bayfair, a story of which was published in January of this year.
