Terra Tech’s Blüm San Leandro dispensary is now the first medical cannabis dispensary to open its doors in San Leandro. Blüm hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, January 11, 2019 and is now open to medical cannabis patients at 1911 Fairway Drive. A video of Blüm San Leandro’s opening event can be viewed on KCBS.

Chief Executive Officer, Derek Peterson, said, “San Leandro will be a great location for Terra Tech’s new medical cannabis dispensary as the city has proven to be an expanding hub of innovation and business.”

Blüm’s retail location has undergone a considerable makeover, both on the exterior and interior. The exterior has been renovated to an industrial chic facade, while the interior resembles an upscale boutique or salon. Peterson and his staff take pride in having created an inviting and comfortable environment that fosters an enjoyable shopping experience. While catering to traditional cannabis use, Blüm also offers more unique products, including bath bombs, beauty creams, infused chocolates, candies, mints, and even infused sparkling water.

The grand opening of Terra Tech’s Blüm San Leandro medical cannabis dispensary is the result of a multi-year process that culminated with the City Council allowing three dispensaries to be opened in San Leandro. The other two dispensaries, Harborside San Leandro and Davis Street Wellness Center, are underway.

What a joke! Our city leaders have failed us, yet many – including the mayor – are still in office. Nearby cities have been benefitting from cannabis sales for YEARS, and now a year after legalized adult recreational use San Leandro has only one cannabis retailer, and it’s medical only.

    • I would like to echo ‘what a joke’ in as much as EVERYBODY from CVS to SAFEWAY want to stick their collective noses into my f’n business. I do not want to go to the doctor, verify my medical condition and join the ranks of card-carrying-San Leandro-approved potential pot purchasers.. a bunch of hooey. Why oh whyo do I need a card? I will continue to grow my own and the city can P-O. We talked about how things were going to change.. 50 years ago. Ralph Nader stopped us cold in our tracks when Chevrolet copied the Germans with the CORVAIR. Another great idea stopped by someone without a drivers license.

  2. Cecelia says:

Anyone can go there. You do not need a card, just ID that you are over 21.

  3. Cannabis Consumer says:

Expensive their website is not useful.. cant even look at the menu before going.. let’s see what the other 2 will offer.

  4. Linda says:

Harborside is great but not only expensive, but add taxes amounting to 35% !!!!!!! (Oakland) And it’s hard to reach (when WILL they finish that freeway!) Although free delivery) I have discovered Garden of Eden and We are Hemp within 20 minutes from my house in SL.

  5. Linda says:

Poor typing. That’s 10 minutes. Ten. Sorry

  6. Frank Hernandez says:

“IF” it is a medical dispensary then you will need to be a patient and a prescription card will be required. Garden of Eden and We Are Hemp, are straight out and out pot shops, selling lots of THC goodies in lots of forms(as allowed by California law) They are both in unincorporated areas of Alameda County, in between San Leandro and Hayward. While they do not (yet) deliver, that may soon be on the horizon.
